Transfer of Marketing Right for TachoComb |
|
Torii Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Torii) [head office: Tokyo, president: Norihiko Matsuo] and Aventis Behring Japan Co., Ltd. (ABJ) [head office: Tokyo, president: Hermann Strenger] have agreed that Torii will transfer the marketing right for TachoComb, a biological tissue conglutination dressing sheet, to ABJ.
Upon completion of the proceedings for transferring the import approval of TachoComb, ABJ will assume responsibility for the product and provide relevant information (in October according to the present plan). Torii will continue to perform these activities until that time.
This transfer of marketing right for TachoComb will be realized as a result of the concordance of Torii's business policy of reviewing product strategies for blood products and ABJ's business policy of further reinforcement of product lines in its business specializing in blood products.
