Torii and Toray terminate Co-Promotion of Hemoperfusion absorption column
"Toraymyxin" for removing endotoxin |

Torii Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokyo; President: Norihiko Matsuo; hereinafter referred to as "Torii") and Toray Industries, Inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo; President: Sadayuki Sakakibara; hereinafter referred to as "Toray") have been co-promoting "Toraymyxin" (types PMX-20R and PMX-05R), a hemoperfusion absorption column for removing endotoxin since July 2, 2007 in Japan. This medical device was developed and manufactured by Toray, and marketed by Toray Medical Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiba; President: Motonaga Tanaka; hereinafter referred to as "Toray Medical"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Toray. The co-promotion contract between Torii and Toray will be terminated at the end of March 2010.
From April 1, 2010, Toray Medical and Toray will conduct activities for providing information on "Toraymyxin".
